About
Chris first fell in love with 3D visualization back in 2001. It was then that he knew he had to pursue his Associates degree from Austin Community College in Engineering Design Graphics, which then led to him spending 3 years at an architectural firm in Austin.
Chris is active in Austin’s 3D user community, the Maxwell Render forums online, and the Austin Civil 3D User Group as well. His work has been used by a variety of commercial clients needing high-quality photorealistic visualizations for marketing materials, and has even been featured on the front page of the Business section in the Austin-American Statesman (see overview & detail).
While interning part-time at an Austin civil engineering firm, Chris is attending the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. He expects to graduate in May of 2010.
A native Houstonian, Chris moved to Austin in 1999 and has been there ever since.
Chris’ passions in life include 3D visualization, jogging, the city of Austin, the great outdoors, wedding photography, and his puppies. Says he, “I have two dachshunds that take up way more of my time than they should.”
